Cancellation terms
These terms and conditions apply to reservations made with Le Pont Du Roy, taking into account any special conditions that have been expressly accepted at the time of reservation.
1. Cancellation by the customer
A cancellation must be communicated in writing via:
The date and time at which the cancellation is received by the accommodation determines which cancellation fees apply.
The following arrangement is a proposal that must be filled in and approved before publication:
More than 30 days before arrival: FREE CANCELLATION
Between 30 and 14 days before arrival: 50% of the costs
Less than 14 days before arrival: 100% of the costs
On the day of arrival or in case of non-arrival: 100% of the costs
Any withheld amounts must correspond to the previously communicated and accepted conditions and to the applicable legislation.
2. Deposit: arrhes or acompte
The amount paid at the time of reservation is referred to as Acompte.
This qualification is clearly communicated to the customer before payment.
In the case of an advance payment, it concerns a down payment that forms a binding obligation, taking into account the contractual conditions and applicable legislation.
3. Change of stay
Changes to the date, room or number of people must be requested in writing.
Changes are subject to availability and require written confirmation.
A change may result in a price adjustment. If the change is not possible, the originally accepted cancellation conditions will remain in effect, subject to applicable legislation.
4. Early departure
In the event of departure before the planned end date, any reimbursement for unused nights depends on the accepted rate conditions and applicable legal regulations.
5. Cancellation by the accommodation
If the accommodation is unable to fulfill a confirmed reservation, the customer will be informed as soon as possible.
Amounts received for services that cannot be provided will be refunded in accordance with the applicable rules, without prejudice to any other rights of the customer.
6. Force Majeure
In circumstances that are legally considered force majeure, the consequences for the reservation and the obligations of the parties are assessed according to French law.
7. Right of withdrawal
For accommodation services provided on a specific date or over a specific period, there is in principle no right of withdrawal of fourteen days as with certain distance contracts.
This does not detract from the customer's rights under the accepted cancellation terms or other applicable legal provisions.
